Enclosure Films
Our building enclosure films are made from quality materials resulting in durable, reinforced poly sheeting that outperforms the competition. Economically priced, Dura-Skrim is constructed with a high strength polyethylene film and heavy-duty scrim reinforcement, laminated together with a layer of molten polyethylene. We use a generous amount of reinforcement in our string reinforced poly, our string pattern is uniform and offers tear resistance in both machine and transverse directions unlike many of our competitors. The result is sheeting that resists puncturing and responds to tears immediately by surrounding and stopping the tear.
Vapor Retarders
Vapor retarders save time, money and energy by reducing moisture migration under concrete slabs and foundations, and through inner walls and ceilings. We have a wide variety of vapor retarder products to choose from that are made from state-of-the-art polyethylene resins for superior physical and performance properties. Our vapor retarders meet or exceed ASTM E-1745 (Plastic Water Vapor Retarders Used in Contact with Soil or Granular Fill Under Concrete Slabs) Class A, B & C requirements.
When specifying under-slab vapor retarders, insist on only the best. You cannot risk the chance of moisture migration damaging expensive coatings, floor coverings or the interior of your structure! VaporBlock® high performance vapor retarders are produced from state-of-the-art resins providing superior physical and performance properties that exceed all the stringent requirements of ASTM E-1745, Class A, B & C. VaporBlock 10 is available in 15’ x 200’ rolls and VaporBlock 15 in 12’ x 200’ rolls along with (Vapor Bond) seaming tape and pipe boot kits (VaporBoot Kit) to provide a complete and thorough system to protect against moisture migration.
Introducing VaporBlock® Plus™ – the next step in protection – from the premium VaporBlock series. VaporBlock Plus is a highly resilient underslab barrier designed to restrict naturally occurring gases such as radon and/or methane from migrating from the ground and through concrete slabs. VaporBlock Plus is a multi-layer barrier made from state-of-the-art resins with exceptional impact strengths and superior resistance to moisture and gas transmission. Underslab gas barriers become a necessary component whenever there is a high risk of naturally occurring radon, methane or carbon dioxide gases. VaporBlock Plus contains the unmatched impact strengths you have come to rely on with VaporBlock and are now combined with superior resistance to gas offering from 50 to 200 times more protection against methane and other VOC’s than premium polyethylene barriers. VaporBlock Plus meets all requirements of ASTM E-1745, Class A, B & C and is produced under the strict guidelines of our ISO 9001:2000 certified management system. VaporBlock Plus is available in a 6 mil (12’ x 200’) and a 20 mil (10’ x 150’) roll along with Vapor Bond Plus seaming tape and pipe boot kits to provide for a complete enclosed installation system.
